Hi guys and gals. Well our plans changed at the last minute and instead of catching another bus south to Belize city then a boat east to caye caulker we heard of a better way to go and see more! However it involved a very early start. At 7am this morn we were sat on the quay waiting to board a 20 man speed boat to go west, then south to an island north of Caye Caulker called Ambergris caye. Supposed to be much pretier that caye caulker but more expensive, so only one night here! On the boat over we were stopped and checked by Belize coastguard, who were armed with M16's. Cool man! They boarded and checked all our baggage and surprisingly one case caught their attention, when asked who owned it no-one would own up, very suspect! So they just took the bag and left! Bit of excitment anyway! We arrived early and were surrounded by Jamacian sounding locals for a taxi but we said we'd walk, after all the whole island is only three blocks wide! There's three streets running north - south called front, middle and back street! Love it! Lets hope I don't sleep walk, could end up very wet! These islands are part of the second longest barrier reef, so some snorkling is on the cards and more beach!

Oh yeah forgot to say the method of transport around here is via a golf buggy! Nice one!
