Another lovely day so we decided we would drive into Garraf hills behind the coast. We found the pretty village of Castellet overlooking a lake. It was a perfect place to wander around. Driving further on we discovered the Olerdola mountain which had a great viewpoint across the surrounding area. The mountain top had been inhabited since the Bronze Age (just under 4,000 years ago) until medieval times in 12th century and included a Roman fortification, and a medieval town with churches and rock-cut tombs. It was a fascinating place to wander around.
