We headed out to Weatherby to explore the town and also to walk one of “1001 Great Walks of Great Britain” published by the AA. The walk was OK but not spectacular.

After our walk we headed back to York to visit the National Rail Museum as the weather became wet yet again! The museum has an amazing collection of trains and carriages including a replica of The Rocket, a number of royal carriages, and a Japanese bullet train. There was also The Warehouse which was an amazing store room of train treasures.
