Barton Springs Camp Ground is a TVA campground located in Normandy TN, just outside Tullahoma TN., on the shores of Lake Normandy. The dam that was constructed that formed Lake Normandy, is one of four TVA dams that is for flood control only and does not produce electric power. It also supplies water for several of the nearby towns.

We had a nice shaded level site. The park has many seasonal campers and it was a busy place during the labor day weekend. There are two boat launch areas very close by, and the campground also has a beach /swim area.

While camped here, we took a day trip to Nashville where we took a guided /narrated bus tour of downtown. After our downtown tour, we visited the Gaylord Palms Opreyland Resort which had spectacular indoor gardens, on of which is nearly 4 acres in size.

Otherwise we explored the area including a visit to Short Springs, Rutledge Falls, and a visit to nearby Cascade hollow Distillery.

Bentley enjoyed some time in the water, both at the lake and at the falls.
