on the beach in Tel Aviv

After spending the night in Tel Aviv my tour starts off in a small van heading north to Nazareth, Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee. A nice small group only 5 of us a couple from PA. a young man from CA, a lady from South Africa living in Australia. One of our stops was the church of Annunciation and the Church of St Joseph, Then on towards Mount of Beatitudes, the Church of the Multiplication, and to explore the ruins of the City of Christ. A stop at a fish restaurant where we had fish from the sea of Galilee, a stop at the sea of Galilee the water was very warm, then on to the Jordan River to the baptismal site where Ben the young man from SF, CA and myself did a re baptism in the Jordan river. Was a very busy day seeing all these sites, was then dropped off at our hotel in Galilee. On the 11th Sept was off to join the next group (a group of 11)for a tour of Caesarea a old roman port, with a amphitheater still used for concerts today, ( was being set up for a concert while we were there) The Bahai Gardens and on to Haifa and the city of Acre (Akko) a stop for some lunch and ending the tour day with a cable car ride to the bottom of the limestone cliffs at Rosh Hanikra right on the northern border of Israel and Lebanon. Then a 2 hour ride back to Tel Aviv to spend the night, another good day. Had dinner on the beach watching the volley ball players.
