Today we left the Lake Lucerne area and headed north once again to our last stop in Switzerland. The journey to Egnach on Lake Constance or Bodensee was straight forward and we arrived safely at the campground.

However, getting to our allocated pitch was a bit of a nightmare with two tight corners and a very tight reversing space to get into our spot. Once in it was a big pitch. Tony did a brilliant job.

However, the day went further downhill when Tony stepped out of the coach onto our coach steps and they collapsed on him. He wasn’t injured but the main bolt on the steps had sheared! We were able to block the steps so we could use them. We discovered later that there is a recent safety recall on these steps. An urgent repair will have to be done once we return to the UK in early September.
