Bentley after the hike ... we looked equally as tuckered out

We arrived at about 1:30 pm and got set up in a beautiful big pull through site. Wow, what a beautifully kept state park! There is direct access to the lake, a small beach area, and loads of hiking / biking trails in the surrounding woods.

We rented a kayak on the 20th for a little time out on the lake. We tried to bring Bentley along, but he did not want to sit still, imagine that...... And we really didn’t want to roll over out in the lake, so we gave him some time to splash and play in the waters by the boat launch, then got him dried off and tucked in for a bit while we toured a small portion of the reservoir. These arms have not paddled in a while, and it didn’t take long to find those muscles that have not been used in a while... In the late afternoon we all went on a hike to one of the over looks. Needless to say, after dinner we all crashed and slept soundly till the morning.
