Me hangin at the computer

Nice german horse

He was trying to lick me!

Woke up early this morning and packed up all of my stuff. We had breakfast and then took all of their old bread and walked through the forest to a horse stable. We spent a few minutes visiting and petting the horses. I loved it. Made me think of you Terri!!!

Kerstin drove me to the main train station with all of my stuff and showed me where to go to catch my train. Turns out my train was half an hour delayed. Oh joy. So, the train company sent people around with a tea and coffee cart asking if we wanted anything. But they spoke to me in German and I didn't have a clue what they meant. I need to learn German!!!

Train finally comes and I find myself a seat. Get all comfy for the 3 and a half hour train ride to a town called Mainz which is close to Frankfurt. I got off the train and found where I had to catch my airport bus. Just missed one so I had to wait an hour. Luckily there was a bookstore at the train station that sold english books.

The bus took an hour to get out to the airport and for 11 euros it didn't even drop us off at the door. Had to walk about 10 minutes in the freezing cold. The airport was tiny!! Easily found my check in desk. Got checked in and waited. Of course because I was flying with Ryan air the plane was delayed.

Finally got on the plane which was completely full and slept the whole way.
