The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

Sometimes we find places which are never mentioned in any guide books and are only known to the locals. Today we found such a place – Cret de Chatillon in the Parc National du Massif des Bauges west of Annecy. Here we found a ridge where there was excellent walking trails and excellent views. It was a twisty road up to the ridge and climbed to 1,699m. The whole area was teaming with locals not tourists judging by the car registrations. We enjoyed a excellent walk on the ridge.
