|As we are learning, most large cities have Segway’s, which Seattle is on the list. I will be dropping candy off this morning for her Segway of Seattle tour. So far she had been on the Segway in San Antonio, 2 times, Cincinnati, Myrtle Beach, Naples FL, San Diego, San Francisco, and Savannah. She is at the point they could hire her to teach people how to ride them.
After the Segway we decided that we would Ride the Ducks. We have done this in a few places also. On the Duck we drove thru the town of Fremont Washington which is famous for the The Solstice Cyclists (also known as The Painted [Naked] Cyclists of the Solstice Parade, or The Painted Cyclists) is an artistic, non-political, clothing-optional bike ride celebrating the Summer Solstice. It is the unofficial start of the Summer Solstice Parade & Pageant, an event produced by the Fremont Arts Council in the Fremont district of Seattle. If you don’t have a bicycle you can rent one. Only thing is a normal person would not want to rent a bike the next day. Think about it.
That just about took up most of the day, so off we went to a restaurant we were told that was the pride of area, Duffy’s Chowder House. They were correct.
