One Last Heron

We are up early and head to Grants Pass for our Hellgate Jetboat Excursion. It is a warm day. I think we may get wet!

The Gold Beach trip and this trip are different. Today the ride downriver is bumpier. We see more wildlife. We go through more rapids. We do more spins. We see more rafters. We get wetter!

It is difficult to post a moment-by-moment log. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Of course, there are no pictures of the spins. My camera is not waterproof.

Back at the RV, we get a call from our captain for tomorrow’s fishing trip. John has his Oregon Fishing License but not a salmon stamp. Even though we are both tired, we head to White City. We will not have time to get the stamp tomorrow. We need to be at the boat by 4:15. “John, are you sure he means AM?”

We had a great BBQ last night. The conversation was wonderful and so was the food. I failed picture taking. We talked and talked. I never thought to get the camera out. Thanks, Jim and Helen for the Oregon hospitality!
