A beard moment at dinner

After the jet boating we went to try and do the Luge in Queenstown, but the queue was too long and as the weather was good we thought some walking at Glenorchy would be a good use of the day. It turned out that the drive to Glenorchy was the best drive we ever did in New Zealand. Really picturesque, mountains, lakes, snow and sun. Slight bit of Ring-ness on the way to boot (Amon Hen) and a drive at Glenorchy on unsealed roads to get to Isengard. Then dinner in Glen Roydon Lodge with lots of Lord of the Rings memorablia about. After dinner we had a couple of beers whilst watching Coronation Street with the local farmers. Ring solid. Will do the Luge tomorrow.
