Cliffs in Utah

Leaving the Page area we headed across the Colorado Plateau to Utah. The changes in colors was striking. The cliffs changed from the breathtaking vermilion colors in Arizona to gorgeous shades of oyster, warm and flannel grays to mauves, ochres, plums and aubergine. My designer brain was going crazy with all the creative colors Mother Nature created in such a short distance! Made me want to grab my paint color decks and see just how many of the colors I could find and what they were named. No wonder there are over 4 million colors in the world and no one can paint a picture like Mother Nature. We ran into a wind storm and have even seen a few snowflakes...a real shock to us after the beautiful weather in Arizona. We are close to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks which we plan to visit while in the area. Having seen Bryce and Zion National Parks on another trip we chose to not visit them this time. The photos aren't the greatest as I took them from the window in the motor home while traveling but wanted to show you the drastic change in colors.
