We started the day later than usual and the plan was to take the tram up to the fortrests to view the confluence of the Mozel and Rhine rivers . As we left the ship the rain started so we changed our minds and went back to the ship. After about a half an hour the renovated so we decided to go into the Christmas market. It was a day to try a number of different things so we had the fried potato pancakes and I would say and again ate them before we took a picture . Once again we ate before we photoed. He also had to have the french fries and the mushrooms with a garlic herb sauce that were fantastic. We walked around the market a little more and Denise stopped it a handmade jewelry store but was on able to pull the trigger on any purchases. However on the way back to the ship there but was on able to pull the trigger on any purchases. However on the way back to the ship there was a ladies clothing store that Drew Denise in and a modest purchase was made. Coming back to the ship we went to the lounge and play a little scrabble as the ship left Koblenz and headed toward: is now almost 430 and time for us to go to the inner circle party which is for people who have traveled much too much on OAT or Grand Circle cruise lines- sort of a reward and acknowledgement that you have traveled with them often. After dinner it is supposed to be karaoke night in the lounge. Details to follow. Dinner was very nice of you. The food onboard is exceptional. After dinner we went to the lounge for the karaoke show. It turned out that the crew did most of the singing but it was a real hoot. We were headed toward cologne but all of the berths were filled because the Rhine is at its lowest water level in 70 years. We docked at Mannheim and will be bashed into cold One tomorrow for sightseeing and the Christmas markets. Good night to all
