|Started the morning by walking Ella to her kindergarten which is run on the Reggio Emilia design. She starts here at 7:30 with breakfast and today was very eager to get there as her group would all go after breakfast to the nearby school for a gym session. The area in which Lars and Kristina live is organised so that you can walk or ride to schools etc without ever crossing a road.
I was made welcome and looked around at the learning equipment and watched the children settle in to eat breakfast. Kristina does not work on Monday so we had a leisurely breakfast. Lars of course had left very early to do post election interviews.
Decided to go to the city and meet Lars for lunch at the food hall -I'd not been there before and it is in a temporary building while the old hall/market is renovated - modernised interior but all old features will be preserved. Fish, meat, cheese, bakeries wine and many places to eat.
After lunch we strolled to Svenskt Tenn, well know and much frequented by Kriss and Noel! Walked past many Art Nouveau buildings and interesting shops; definitely the upmarket area.
Home to collect Ella on the way and prepare dinner with Angelica and Alex coming and after clearing the kitchen and a little more talk I had to farewell Lars who will again leave very early.
Will be sad to leave but it has been lovely just to have the time to sit and talk and be part of the family life as well as enjoying this very late warmth in Stockholm.
