Kluane Lake.

There's that rain cloud that follows us.

Clouds on the mountains.

Kluane River Valley

Road to Haines. It's also the National Eagle Preserve.

Fishwheels...we didn't see any fish.

We drove from our boon-docking spot at Kluane lake through Haines Junction and into Haines. The scenery as we got closer to Haines changed to big cedar pines and hardwood forests. The area around Haines is an National Eagle preserve.

We didn't do much to report. Car and Motorhome is filthy. Car wash across the street is a very busy one. Larry washed the car so we could see what color it was and to get the stones out of the windshield wiper. We are hoping the windshield lasts without cracking till we get home.

Got our tickets to catch the ferry to Skagway on Friday. For the motorhome, car and two passengers it was $191.00. We would have spent that or more on gas if we had to go back and drive to Skagway. We also bought tickets to take a Wildlife cruise to Juneau for a day. Will do that on Wednesday.

We are at the Haines Hitching Post RV park. Very nice, clean park. The grass is dead because they had a hard freeze recently. We brought rain so it will green up.

We had dinner at the Lighthouse Restaurant in town. Very good.
