2018 Winter travel blog

This was a very discouraging day. The weather is not what we are looking for, it was 26 degrees last night and only supposed to reach 45 degrees today and 24 tonight. Last night the satellite quit working so we called Camping World, which is only 20 miles down the road, to see if they can look at it. Since we bought it from them we felt they could fix it. We packed up and arrived there at 10:00 am so they could get started. He worked on it until 3:30 pm, which we went to lunch down the road, to a place call Route 66 Roadhouse. We did meet the Manager of the Circle Pines KOA here in Williams. We told him where were staying and that is one of his buddies that owns it. Told us next here to give him a call and he will fix us up with a good rate, maybe next time. The Roadhouse was a place you pick out what you want, steak, fish, or burger and cook it yourself on their grill, kind of different. We left there and hung out in the Camping World the rest of the time. We were told it was fixed so we paid the bill and were on our way. Got back to the campground, set back up and turned the satellite on, but it still didn’t work. Got on the phone and called them and of course they were sorry. We had the tech on the phone and he told us some things to try but it still didn’t come on. So, back to Camping World tomorrow morning, sure glad we bought the 3 year warranty on it. On the way back to the campground we drove thru a snow squall, not something we wanted to see.
