Kluane Lake

Boodocking on the lake

We weren't the only one's boondocking.

Walking the dog.

Today we drove from Tok to Kluane Lake at Destruction Bay.

The road had construction, frost heaves, and many Whoopee-doo dips. The road can beat you up! A Flag person at one of the construction site stops told us we should have seen the road a month ago. It's much better now - the bad spots left are really the good spots that didn't get repaired this year. Those will get fixed next year and the new bad spots the year after.... UHHH??

We got to the Canadian border. Larry was wearing a novelty baseball cap that said "I'm Norwegian, but I take pills for it". The border agent said she was watching the Norway incident and that the hat wasn't funny". That may be profiling?? Not the way you want to start a border inspection. Really no problem, we were on our way in a few minutes.

We boondocked at Kluane Lake along with 5 other rigs. It was a beautiful spot but very windy. Tomorrow: Haines
