Tom did an amazing job (tight quarters)

Well now, another month has gone by, and it went very quickly! And to go with that, it’s now been 2 full years since Tom retired from MPD.

Our friends Rick & Cherie came to the condo and stayed with us for a few days. The weather cooperated for the most part during their stay. We visited Gorden Biersch Brewery Restaurant for dinner one night, plus made a trip to Ripley's Aquarium, a visit to the local ice cream shoppe, and several short trips to a few of the local beaches. We had a great time hanging out together!!

And speaking of the beaches, they were doing a beach rejuvenation project here in Garden City at the beginning of June. It was quite a project to see. Big barges vacuum up sand off the ocean floor and then bring it in to the shore where they pump it onto the beaches. Then large pieces of machinery spread it out and reshape the beach. Cause of course that brings lots of new sea shells in for us to collect!

For Fathers Day we got together with Ed & Fran, and Doris & Bill, for a wonderful brunch buffet at The Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet. The atmosphere there along the Marsh Walk was awesome as usual. Great food and a great time out with friends.

And what about that weekly BS. ???

Yum! Banana Splits!! The Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor in Surfside has buy one get one free Banana Splits on Thursdays and we have had our share. With 30ish flavors of ice cream to choose from, the possibilities are endless.

We took on a big project in our motor home. We removed the carpeting from the bedroom and installed new engineered hardwood flooring. With that project done, we are getting things ready for travelling and will be heading to VT to see family & friends.

Stay Healthy & Safe.
