With the weather being so bad we took the opportunity of a fine but cold day to take a walk along Wenlock Edge a limestone escarpment that runs from the market town of Much Wenlock. On one side of the edge is a gentle shelving slope of open farmland. On the other side are the Shropshire plains.

The first part of the trail was muddy but as we got on to Edge the trail improved. The views were excellent and Daisy enjoyed her off lead time romping through the woods and disturbing the occasional deer. We think she did about three times the distance we walked and the look of joy on her face was priceless. The final part of the trail was on an enclosed path alongside fields. There were some young and beautiful calves in one of the neighbouring field just enjoying the sunshine.
