Here's a relaxing and scenic Sunday drive--but make sure you attend church before attempting it. Wow! Let the pictures tell the story. The tunnel was 11 foot 6 inches on the side walls. It was 14 feet 6 inches in the center. Guess where we drove it being 13'6"? ---over the center line! The curves and the side obstacles defy logic. We are 63 total feet long counting the car being towed. You'll find religion after this drive. Barbara enjoyed the views while I had to wait for her pictures and a few glasses of wine.

Now that it is over it was great!

We arrived at Newport Marina RV Park and headed to downtown historic old Newport on the Yaquina Bay and River. We shopped the shops and had an early dinner at the Saffron Salmon. Fresh wild pacific salmon and crab cakes settled the nerves. They were fabulous. This is a principal seafood packing center and if you love seafood it does not get any better! Wow!
