We spent 24 hours at Hainsworth's boat yard moored up to a narrow boat so that we could use their electricity. Tony wanted to top up the batteries while we had the chance and marinas are few and far between, and mostly full, so no room for wide beam boats. This boat yard has moorings along the side of the canal, and although his moorings were full he was more than happy for us to double up. It snowed last night around 8pm and we woke up to a winter wonderland this morning.
After walking down into Bingley to the Damart factory where I bought myself a cardigan and some gloves, we left the Boat yard and went a couple of hours along to our next mooring point near Keithley.
These sheep were foraging amongst the snow for some crunchy grass.
We're back in stone wall country now.
I don't know how long the novelty will last, but it's very pretty to look at.
