Dad and Doodles

I don't know who the OP is, but Faye sure is cute!

hopefully a good approximation on the map. This morning about 60 miles northeast of the Bahamas. If you draw a line from Fort Lauderdale to Horta, Azores, and plot us out doing 20 knots over the last 24 hours, you would see about where we are. Five more days to get there. I say east-ish as we are heading just north of the sunrise and the sun hasn't quite reached its full travel north until 21 June, which is to the Tropic of Cancer. Plus or minus, due to the precession of the equinoxes, aka, earth wobble. Ok, Amoo, I know that isn't nautically accurate, but it's all I got on short notice...and we are traveling just north of that. I need a chart!

You can see tonight was formal night, although it isn't the way it used to be, we give it a try. You see the two youngest onboard by far. I hear there are three other kids, haven't seen but two teenagers. Even their parents are outliers on the age curve for this trip!

There was a lovely selection of classical music of Mozart for dinner, chatting with the Indonesian head waiter, Sam who resembles Jabba the Hut a bit, we told him how much we liked it...to which he replies, oh I like hard rock music. To which we ask, oh really...like (and I just knew he was gonna say) van halen, and how about Cheap Trick? Sure! And then he says he was living in Vancouver and says he likes Canadian bands like, Triumph and who were they...Loverboy! At this point I am already cracking up...and THEN he starts karaoke-ing ...I was born to run, I was born to dream, the craziest boy you ever seen...I gotta do it my waaaaay, or no way at aaaaaaallll!..at which point, Jabba is making a bit of a scene...I really didn' t encourage the 60 year old, honest!
