Gary cleaning snow of the car – IN WALES!!!

Snow in the garden of Brondesbury Lodge in Cardigan, Wales.

We woke in Llechryd to a familiar sight – snow! It was not the heavy deep snow that we know so well from Ottawa, but a light, almost Styrofoam-looking layer of white over the lawn, plants, driveway and cars. It even covered the garden at Menna’s (Heather’s mother) nursing home. As usual for this part of the world, it melted within hours. The rest of the day was sunny but cool, with the temperature not reaching much more than two or three degrees.
