More in Quebec City

Another new favorite city...another magical place. We had the most gorgeous day, sunny and warm, an interesting bus tour to learn some of the history, and lots of wandering time in the streets as European as any we've before seen.

But a highlight was actually our lunch in the Costco! (Gregg takes me to the finest French restaurants...) Yes, everything is in French in the store except for the new Harry Potter book which was the only English I spotted there. Samples were not plentiful but the sample of chocolate covered fresh blueberries was worth the entire trip there.

Today is a our first rainy day so we will get Internet work all caught up before leisurely leaving this afternoon, headed for Quebec's Gaspe Penninsula about 400 miles away. Hoping to camp along the shore of the St. Lawrence River tonight.

Note: I forgot to write about a highlight from our first day in Ontario, Canada. A HUGE black bear ambled across the highway right in front of me as I drove. I yelled for Gregg to wake up and see it so he can confirm this. How cool that was!
