(Ron Writing) A couple days ago Mark and Judie showed-up and parked in a spot very close to us. They are fellow Boomers we met at the Balloon Fiesta last fall when we were crewing together for Ladybug.

Today Mark and Judie invited us on a Geocaching adventure. They have been geocaching for a couple years but this was our first introduction. We’ve met many RVers that enjoy searching for caches as they travel around the country. We had a great time and, thanks to a great deal of help from our friends, we located six caches in the couple hours we were out. I think we’ll be doing more of this in the future.

On the way back to North Ranch we stopped at “Nichols West” a small restaurant in Congress. Some friends have told us they like this place but we’d never tried it. We were surprised at the interesting selections on the menu and we all enjoyed a delicious lunch. We’ll definitely be going back there.

This evening Mark and Judie invited us over to their motorhome for dinner. Mark loves to cook and he’s very good at it. Tonight he cooked a delicious chicken dish that we all enjoyed along with much good conversation. Thanks, Mark & Judie, for a fun day!
