East Entrance to Zion

Imagine the wind blowing over this rock to make these beautiful lines

Coming thru the first tunnel

Beautiful tree root on the path. Very big too.

Heading out of the cave.

View from the cave

Liked the trees shadow on the rock

The end of trail

Soon we'll be on the road

A big clam shaped cave

Heading down to the truck

Going in the tunnel

From this hole...

...You see this view about half way thru the tunnel

The view coming out of the long tunnel

Going down thru the zig zags

We arrived and entered Zion from the east entrance. We were blown away. It was totally different from the west side. Completely different rock formations. We walked the Canyon Overlook Trail, which was a 1 mile hike along the rocks edge and thru a big cave on the mountainside. What a view at the trails end. You look down on the winding road you will travel on once you go thru the tunnel and head west thru the park. So glad we made this trip today!

Tomorrow we are off to Valley of Fire. We are meeting up with Bill, Sharon & Joyce before we all head home.
