Hwy 9 heading to Zion

Windy day yesterday, hazy today

Chubby guy

Big lizard behind the rig

What is in this little lizards mouth?

A caterpillar!

He spit it out...

...and it got away

Exhausted or basking in the sun

The Virgin River behind the park

Today was moving day. We had a reservation mix up...oops! We thought we had made reservations at the Zion Canyon RV Park in the middle of town in Springdale, just outside of the west entrance of the Zion National Park. Come to find out after arriving in Springdale, we have reservations in Virgin, 12 miles back down the road. Zion River RV Park is a very nice park, with lots of amenities, but very expensive and removed from everything. The worse is terrible cell signal and very slow internet. Not really our kind of park, but needless to say, we got settled in and are enjoying. Tomorrow we will travel back up to Zion National Park to take the free shuttle thru the park to get an overview.
