Down the hill

Lombardi Street

We finally pulled out of Vallejo around 10:00 am to stop at fruit market on the way that the lady in the park said they had everything you could want. Well we got there and it was not what she said, Candy went in and they didn’t have anything she was interested in. Back on the road we went, US 101. Our trip north was interesting because it was good road until we got near the Humboldt State Park. The road become a very narrow 2 lane road and as we drove thru the trees I needed to watch the trees on the right side of the road. They were on the edge of the pavement, the trees had marks where some folks didn’t miss the tree. The road had everything, trees, cliffs and drop offs. It was not fun if you were riding in the passenger seat or driving. Hopefully this is the last of this kind of road. We got to the Benbow KOA about 4:00 pm which I think is one of the very few flat areas around. Tomorrow we will take the truck and visit the Redwood forest in the area.

I got some more pictures of Candy on the Segway and the hills they rode.
