Driving down Old Black Colony Road

This is the second time that I have been a guest at Gwen and Dale's home in Buda. Today we decided to go for BBQ in Blanco. After lunch we walked around this small town which is known for it's lovely old courthouse ( used in many movies and TV shows) and a rather large live oak tree. We stopped at a couple of antique stores but came out empty handed. Time to go to the Red Bud Cafe for dessert. They keep a record of the yearly rainfall and post it on the wall. The oilcloth table covers were extremely colorful - a very happy looking place.

We came home via Old Black Colony Road in Buda. Read the historical marker photo. It is really interesting

Tonight we sat around recalling all of the fun days we shared when we met RVing in Kerrville. We are making new memories now - there are still many adventures to be shared.
