It was a bit of a wet day so we decided to drive to Harlech. From the main road (which was very narrow in places) we had to climb steeply to the village of Harlech. The castle would have been impressive but it was being renovated and village was deserted and a bit run down.

We continued along the coast to Barmouth and by then the rain had stopped so we had a walk along the front and the town before heading back to base.
