The first yucca blooms this year

"Snakelike" cactus

Brought the coach to the dealer today and will pick it up on Friday. With two days without our home we decided to explore the Benson/Tombstone/Bisbee area of Arizona.

On our way down I10 we detoured just before reaching Tuscon to go to Tohono Chul Park - a lovely little desert park with a terrific tea garden. Tom had a wonderful salmon/cucumber salad and I had a chicken with wild rice salad. Both came with very tangy dressings and were loaded with fresh greens, red cabbage, red onion, avocado and tomato. Delicious!

There were lots of flowers in bloom so after lunch we walked the very short trails and enjoyed the views. It doesn't take very long to come to appreciate the beauty of the desert.

We have a 10:30 reservation for the Queen Mine Tour tomorrow morning so we drove as far as Tombstone before checking into a hotel for the night. We are kind of happy to veg in a hotel - it's been a hectic couple of days checking out all of the systems in the motorhome for our warranty visit with the dealer. We want to get everything tended to before we leave next week.
