Time to get caught up… where we are and what we are doing…

After a wonderful visit with our son and his fiancée we headed north and pulled into a relaxing RV park in Loxahatchee (Palm Beach area). We really didn’t do much of anything but relax, swim, use up our sunscreen (it didn’t help as I still got a sunburn), go to water aerobics class every morning, and make an attempt to get back to eating healthy. I now must admit that I ate too many scallops, fried clams, lobsters, and maple sugar in Maine so I am currently working on trying to rein my weight back in. (Of course our “dining adventures” in Miami didn’t really help as there are so many temptations there, too!)

We are currently in Bushnell, Florida, at Sumter Oaks RV Park after driving up yesterday. We spent the day today with friends Salle and Samuel who live in a lovely RV in the Lake Panasoffkee community. We had a delightful lunch and visit with them by the lake and at their RV in Countryside RV Park. What a fun day!

We really enjoy Sumter Oaks RV Park, having stayed here once before, and plan on staying through at least tomorrow to help them celebrate the park’s birthday! They are having some special events that look like fun and it gives us a chance to enjoy the Florida sunshine for another day or two.

Happy Travels, Rebecca
