Today the weather was much better so we decided to go up the Kanzelwandbahn from Riezlern, Austria. From the top there was a round walk that went from the Kanzelwand (2,058m) to Fellhorn (2037m) and back. Although “as the crows fly” the distance between the two peaks didn’t look very far with going up and down and along ridges it certainly was just a few miles. Again there were some fantastic views except when we had a brief period of mountain mist when visibility was down to just a few feet. How quickly the mountain can change. There was one side ridge which had a view down a valley which was a little too close to the edge for Tony’s liking so he sat at the top while Heather went down to take the photos.

Once again we had all enjoyed our walk in the mountains.
