After a long day going to Redditch for Heather to have her pre-op assessment for her gall bladder operation on the 11 May we decided we all needed a good walk.

Our circular walk took us through the glacial amphitheatre of cliffs called Craig Cerrig Gleisiad which had been colonised by Iron Age dwellers and medieval farmers. From there we walked up to Fan Frynych at 629m before returning partly via the top of the Craig Cerrig Gleisiad escarpment.

It was an excellent walk.
