The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

We had changed base to just south of Birmingham near Solihull in order to visit our respective cousins and also to explore the area. Our first visit was to visit Croome a house near Worcester. Although a former stately home (which is currently being renovated) the estate played an important role in World War II as a secret air base which researched and developed radar on to planes.

We enjoyed a good walk around the estate and then visited the exhibition on the role of Croome during World War II.
