Interstate I-15 The Virgin River Gorge. This section is only thirty miles...

We have set up camp at the Casablanca Casino Resort for 2 days.We need to warm up and rest and of course have another Thanksgiving dinner!!

Incredible scenery between St George Utah and Mesquite. The interstate cuts right thru an area that has colored red towering cliffs.Unfortunately there is no pedestrian access because of how narrow it is. Just stunning,I will see if I can fins a video of this drive and upload it.

Today we dropped from the 6000 ft we have been traveling at and came down to a warmer 1600 ft.

If we do not update this site in the next couple of days it is because they have no Internet..very odd in todays connected world.

** Threw up my long range wi fi antenna and have gained access via some free sites. Very slow but it works!

November 22nd

Nice place here but RVers take note. They have pull throughs and back ins.If coming here with a larger RV with slide out ONLY take a back in site, call ahead and reserve your site. The pull throughs are very narrow with huge bowler pipes separating the small shorter sites. There is minimum room for your tow vehicle on site. There is another RV place down the road,Oasis which is managed by the same casino, I have no info on that place other than it is a drive every day to come back to the Casablanca Casino.

Temp H 20C L 8C sunny WOO HOO!!!

The scenic area we passed thru is called the Virgin River Gorge located in Arizona

I attached is a good video of that drive,it is not mine though. Hopefully you can view this video on this page ,if not copy and paste the following link.
