2014 Hershey Pennsylvania travel blog

It is so nice to be up early and enjoy the morning air which smells so clean with the birds signing and no other sounds around. That had to change because it is moving day, we leave for Hershey Park this morning which is only about 1 hour drive. As we were loading the kids got to watch a man putting telephone poles in the ground here in the campground. It is amazing, one man, one truck and he bores the hole, places the pole, all in about an hour.

We departed the campground and drove to Hershey Park Campground. This is the kind of drive I like 1 hour and we are there. First site was on a side of the hill which I couldn’t get level, plus it was only 30 amp service and we paid for 50 amp. Back to the office, which they made a mistake putting us there, and got our new site which was level with 50 amp service. With this heat I need both air conditioners running to keep cool. Katie took the kids to the very nice pool they have here at the campground as we got the motorhome sit up for our stay.

Found out that since we had tickets for tomorrow that everyone could go over to Hershey Park at 6:30 pm for not cost. Chip and Katie will take the kids to the park while Candy and I stay at the campground. Debbie and Steve McGee will be visiting tonight for Reading PA.
