The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

We woke up this morning to find there was no water. Because of the really cold weather in England at the moment we think a mains water pipe had burst somewhere on the estate. Poor Martin couldn’t have a shower before he went to work and a long weekend away skiing in France.

Tony also had his assessment drive to obtain his E licence. He has his C licence already which allows him to drive the motorhome or a heavy goods vehicle in the UK and Europe. However in order to tow the car behind the motorhome he needs to obtain an E licence. As this licence is usually for articulated trucks unfortunately he has to do his training over 5 days on such a vehicle and not the motorhome. His 5 days of trainings are now set for late February.

We then drove to Coventry to collect the non-slip boot tray we had ordered from the SEAT garage and for them to replace the back cover shelf with the correct one. We then headed to Grantham and Heather’s Mum to spend a week with her. The weather was bitter and as we got nearer to Grantham there was a light dusting of snow. According to the weather forecast there was more very cold weather and snow for the weekend. No wonder we are wrapped up warm!
