The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

The weather in December was a bit miserable (why are we in the UK for the winter?). We also had a few medical and dental issues with Tony injuring his leg (we thought initially he had torn his Achilles Tendon but thankfully not) so put him out of action for a couple of weeks. Daisy got stung or bit by something which meant her side of her face and lymph nodes swelled so an emergency visit to the vet was necessary. Heather had a tooth problem which needed a root canal filling but because of a very narrow root canal and after two attempts by the dentist to find the entrance to the canal she had to have the tooth extracted.

We had a quiet Christmas attending a number of concerts/ services at Ely cathedral. However between Christmas and the New Year the Coach decided to get into the action with things going wrong. The front heating furnace decided to breakdown requiring us to have a new motor and circuit board. Fortunately we knew an American RV technician who was not that far away and had all the parts so it was quickly fixed.

During all this happening we decided we would do some planning for our summer visit to Norway. On reflection writing this two months later this might not have been a good idea!
