The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

As usual returning back to the UK after a long trip means a busy time for the first few weeks and this time was no exception.

The first ten days saw us getting the car and motorhome serviced and MOT'd(Ministry of Transport Tested) along with a few repairs on motorhome like getting the back ladder rebuilt. This also gave us the opportunity to say hello to Linda(Tony's sister) and Kevin although it was a sad time for them as Kevin's Dad died whilst we were staying with them.

With all the coach and car issues sorted e then spent two weeks in the Grantham area visiting Heather's Mum. Dodging the weather we spent many happy hours cutting back hedges and bushes in her garden and when it was too wet to work outside catching up on a number of inside jobs as well.

The final week saw us in Shrewsbury with daughter Hazel and granddaughter Didi joining us for three days to explore Shrewsbury and Ironbridge (see separate entry).

Across all this Heather had several doctor's appointments as she had been having problems with her right knee. All the blood tests were OK and the x-ray showed a small problem which some physiotherapy would be able to sort out.

By the end of the month we were exhausted.
