Corvair - the first car Tom and I bought - for CASH!

what's a parade without horses

are we there yet?

I'll be staying at a friend's house the next two days so I thought I had better get myself together before the visit. I did laundry, went to the bank, shopped for some much needed hair products, got a pedicure, and repacked suitcases. As I was doing my errands I ran across a parade in celebration of "Rooster Days."

In 1932, the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce came up with Rooster Day . It was designed to help farmers get rid of excess roosters and keep egg quality high. Nowadays the farmers use commercial insemination techniques but Rooster Days is an 83 year old Broken Arrow tradition that's still going strong.
