After a morning sorting out our internet SIM we headed out to the coast at Casa Nova and Praia da Barra. From our campground our drive took us along one of the lagoons to Costa Nova. We had a good walk along by the lagoon admiring the interesting candy-striped houses of the town. We then walked to the other side of the town to the beach. This area of the coast of Portugal is one long sand dune with wide expanses of sand. At this time of year the beaches are deserted so Daisy was able to enjoy a romp to her heart’s content.

We then drove along further to Barra although not as attractive it did have the tallest lighthouse on the Iberian peninsula and plenty of fishermen!

Again the weather was lovely.
