Is that a fire...

WTH?

Yes that really is the name of the state park and yes it really was named after a dead horse...

Spent a few days here on our way to the Grand Canyon. It was nice to be back in the boonies after 6 mos in SD. We even had a visitor one day...glad he didn't stay long...

The Tuzigoot ruins were built by a people called Sinagua who populated this region from about 1000-1400 A.D. They left the region and nobody knows what happened to them or why they left. The ruins had about 110 rooms and were three stories high at one time.
