|I was up and ready to go by 3:30 a.m. The van came at 4:15 , we went on to pick up three other passengers, and then off to Sky Harbor Airport. Miraculously, I was "pre-screened" by the computer so I sailed through security - shoes on, jacket on, and computer in bag. Wow - does that speed things up.
I had the aisle seat in a row occupied by a young couple with a 19 month old named Lyric. She was a cutie pie , curious and in constant motion. She shared her toys with me but best of all she shared her smiles. Eventually she fell asleep and woke up just before landing. They were traveling on to Virginia where I am sure "grandma" was waiting anxiously for her precious granddaughter.
A bit of a mixup at the car rental so I was compensated with a free tank of gas. I always deal with Enterprise because they take such good care of their customers.
It has warmed up some in Michigan - 27 degrees. The snow was blowing all over the place as I drove to Spencer's house. He had plans for this afternoon and this evening so I have yet to lay eyes on him. I am unpacked, had dinner, and took a 20 minute snooze. I actually feel quite refreshed.
