It is cold, windy and raining today. Not sure what we were going to do.

We took a ride over to Healy to see what the small town had to offer. Not much...a coffee shop out in the wilderness and a coal power plant. I included pictures of the road to the coffee shop. Who goes 4 miles on this type of road for coffee? We did not get coffee.

We went to a Dinner Theatre with Pat and Jan our new friends from Tennessee. The popular dinner theater performed in an authentic, log-paneled roadhouse. The heroine Fannie Quigley and a cast of characters in a true-to-life Gold Rush tale of adventure in early 1900s Alaska. It was a great mix of colorful storytelling, spirited music and humor, brought to life by talented performers. It made for a late night and we had to get up early for the Denali Tour.

We left the theatre at 10:30pm and the sun was finally out. We have had 3 really bad days here. Hope the forecast is good for tomorrow.
