A Masterpiece

More White Sands

Matural Beauty through a windshield

Today was another travel day and this one crossed mountains, both the Sacramento and San Andres ranges and offered fabulous views of God's artistry. One thing worth noting is the white streak at the base of a range that appeared to us as we reached a summit. We thought it was a low lying fog but it became more solid as we got closer. Linda realized what we were seeing was the beauty of White Sands National Monument. The gypsum showed so bright from a distance and remained beautiful close up. We had been there previously, but to see it appear in the distance was a real treat. The truck earned it's keep as we crossed the mountains and I was glad we bought a light weight trailer and Linda didn't have to push.

We are now in Anthony, New Mexico which is right next to El Paso where a dear friend lives. Richard was able to join us for dinner and we are visiting with him tomorrow. It truly warms the heart when one is reunited with a special friend you haven't seen for five years.
