The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

Today we left Denmark and headed into Sweden. It was very busy with units departing the campground in Copenhagen so we were later than our usual departure time. We had an uneventful exit from the campground, thank goodness.

We took the Öresund Bridge that links Denmark to Sweden. The bridge was completed in 1999 and is both road and rail bridge. It comprises both a bridge and tunnel and is a total of 16km long. The toll was expensive because of our size but its beats the ferry any day. In Sweden we had to stop at the customs to register Daisy’s entry into Sweden which was very quick and easy.

As we had found in Denmark the roads in Sweden were equally as good and we arrived safely at our reserved campground in Rostanga. It was very busy but the owners had reserved us a lovely big spot in the quieter section of the campground. It was very easy in and we quickly set up and sat out and enjoyed the continuing sunshine.

Welcome to Sweden.
