The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

We were on the road by 9.30am. An early start for us. Despite rain for the first part of the journey as we headed north the weather cleared so we had a dry run.

It was a long day. We travelled 292 miles and the last bit was slow as we hit the Friday afternoon traffic through Chartres and Dreux.

We were heading for an aire in Brezolles we had used on the way down. We knew this aire was popular and as we got later we worried that it might be full. We arrived in Brezolles about 4.30pm to find the aire empty so we were able to pick our spot. By the end of the evening there was five motorhomes in the aire.

Tomorrow we will have a rest day and do a shop before heading north again on Sunday for our last stop in France before crossing the channel.
