We left Page, AZ yesterday a day early because of the excessive heat and headed down the road towards Bryce Canyon, Utah. It was a beautiful drive and the temperature upon arriving at the Red Canyon Visitor Center was a lovely 82. Had the best night sleep in a long time due to the wonderful night temp of mid 40's. This is just the kind of weather we were looking for.

We explored the quaint little town of Panguitch today. They are having a Quilt Festival this weekend that we plan on checking out along with all the other festivities.

Also took a short drive up to Ruby's Inn, which is a small town in itself, called Bryce Canyon City (est.2007). What a place! Tomorrow we are taking the free shuttle up the Bryce Canyon to view 5 of the best viewpoints in Bryce.

The Red Canyon where we are staying is beautiful! We will likely stay in this area for a while before heading to Wyoming.
